Hi! Amarie Gipson and I’m a multidisciplinary cultural worker and creative entrepreneur based in Houston, TX. I’m a writer, a formally trained curatorial/museum professional and the director of The Reading Room HTX, a Black art reference library and cultural archive. My work spans the realms of art, music, and media but floral design has grounded me.

My love for visual culture has fueled my approach to the craft. With playfulness at the heart of my practice, I hope to spread as much joy as possible through this medium.
